Holy crap what a weird year this has been.

Surgery went fine! Aside from faking an inexplicable English accent while under the effects of anesthesia, it went about as well as could be expected! I've been off of the crutches for two weeks now, and my knee no longer looks like a grapefruit. It's AMAZING the difference surgery made. You never realize how much you're hurting until the pain goes away.

It turns out that I didn't have a torn meniscus. The underside of my kneecap cracked when it impacted with the ground, so it was rough and tearing up my cartilage. The surgeon smoothed it out, but he had to take out a lot of the cartilage in my knee. The crack is still there, but hopefully it's healing (you can't really put a cast on a kneecap). I should be able to climb stairs by December.

So what's the point? The point is that I finally feel good enough to do art again! You may notice that I ACTUALLY updated with something! Can you believe it? I sure can't!

So to all of you lingering in my queue, I extend my heartiest apologies. I am SO SORRY it has taken me so long to get this moving again. But I have paint, I have paper, and Dammit is still chugging along. My laptop died, but I have a Frankenstein desktop.

Lets get this show on the road!
